I have set up my own singing club Melodees and Harmonix, which meets on a Wednesday evening in St Austell.
Melodees is aimed at ages 5 – 10 years looking at developing singing techniques using fun musical games, rounds, and songs that everyone wants to sing (including the parents who stay to watch)
Harmonix is aimed at 11 – 18 years and as well as building on the vocal techniques that are so important to build and maintain healthy singing. This group is lots of fun and we work together on the choice of songs that are sung, so include a real mix of modern pop, musical theatre and older more standard pieces. We add harmonies three and sometimes four part and we add performance. This group regularly goes out and about singing for local charities and has also supported Johnny Cowling.
During Covid 19, there is just one class, incorporating the two clubs. this runs on a Wednesday from 6:30pm till 7:30pm.
